2013 Rebates & Tax Credits

Are you looking to upgrade the efficiency of your furnace and air conditioner?  Now is a great time to look at replacing your heating and cooling system with the new rebates and federal tax credits.  Pharo Heating & Cooling partners with WI Focus on Energy to provide rebates for efficiency improvements on qualifying equipment.

If you replace your existing air conditioner at the same time as your furnace, you could qualify for a $400 mail-in rebate from WI Focus on Energy.  Qualifying equipment must include:

• Natural gas multi-stage furnace with ECM (Electronically Commutated Motor) that is 95% AFUE or greater
• 16 SEER or greater central air conditioner

Also, the federal tax credit for efficiency improvements is available for 2013.  The tax credit availability is limited to a one-time use and must be on an existing home which is your primary residence.  Other restrictions may apply, so we recommend consulting your tax advisor.  The following rebates are available:

• Furnace that is 95% AFUE or greater = $150
• Furnace with advanced main air circulating fan = $50
• Air conditioner that is 16 SEER or greater = $300

Bryant Heating & Cooling systems also have manufacturer rebates available of up to $500 on the installation of select models.  This program runs March 1^st through June 30^th.  On top of all these great rebates and tax credit, Pharo Heating & Cooling is also offering a $600 company discount for installing a gas furnace and air conditioner at the same time.

Pharo Heating Company has a long history in Madison, WI and we are proud of it!  Bill & Nancy Pharo started Pharo Heating Company in 1983 working out of their house and have grown it to be an industry leader for residential heating and cooling.

Bill Pharo is a third generation HVAC contractor with his grandfather, Clarence Pharo Sr., starting the original Pharo Heating back in 1913 by delivering coal and oil furnace and boiler systems to the growing Madison area. Clarence Sr.’s sons, John, Bob and Clarence Jr., eventually took over the company around the late 1930’s and continued to provide a high level of customer service to Madison residents until the late 1970’s, from their office on Regent Street.

Today, Pharo Heating & Cooling is made up of 15 full-time employees, all with special skill sets to provide our customers with the best products and services available. There is a service technician on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to make sure your home comfort system is always operating to its full potential.
